CITRUS HISTORY IN A BOX FOR TEACHERS

The Inland Orange Conservancy together with the Riverside Metropolitan Museum are working to incorporate Orange Sunrise into an educational, interactive teaching resource for elementary schools in the Inland Empire. The "Citrus History in a Box" will be contained in an orange crate and come complete with an orange for each student, orange crate labels, teacher's guides, the Orange Sunrise DVD, and other material to not only meet requirements of teaching California history, but to give it a local flavor and make it fun for students.

The curriculum is being finalized and "Citrus History in a Box" will be distributed first to a limited number of teachers for feedback, then available throughout the region.
