HOW CAN I HELP?

  • One of the main ways to support local growers and reap the benefits of their delicious crops is to join the Inland Orange Conservancy. For your donation, you will receive a "share of the crop" and help keep local growers in business. These citrus products are, hands down, more tasty than the imported citrus you buy in your supermarket.

  • Shop at local market nights. Local venders and growers bring their products to these fun, community gatherings. Not only are you supporting the local economy, but you're getting fresh products that didn't travel for days to get to you. See Farmer's Market resources below.

  • Purchase locally produced foods for your business meetings or gatherings. Contact the Riverside County Department of Public Health for more information about connecting with local suppliers.

  • Recognize the value of locally grown products and the open space that groves, fields and even community gardens provide to the community. Attend local government meetings and fight for a balance between locally grown food and development.
